Maria, Mia, Zoe and I had a great end to 2023 and a good start to 2024! We are excited for all that God has in store this year for us as a family. God spoke to me several months ago that this year will be the year of open doors for the ministry as well as year of expansion. One excited thing is that we moved to a new house on November 14 and we are loving the house and the housing complex! And the girls have a park and pool to enjoy, too!
These pics pretty much sum up life with them recently!
We are planning on spending time in the U.S. this year from May 16 through early/mid-July. Maria will be graduating from her online degree from Manna University in Fayetteville, NC on May 18 and then we plan to spend a few days in Raleigh before heading up to PA!
A few family pics
One personal highlight was the opportunity to officiate a wedding ceremony for the first time on November 30 in Cartagena! Congratulations to Matthew and Natalia from Canada and Colombia!
We recently took a "vacation with purpose" trip to Bogotá as a family from January 10-23. We participated in a pastor´s program at a missionary conference, spend a few days in Bogotá, and also helping out at a church outside of Bogotá!
CIMA missionary conference in Chinauta, Colombia! We were able to make some excellent ministry connections, talk with youth about serving with us, share our ministry with the pastors´group, and receive from the Lord as part of the pastors´ program!
Helping at a church in Cogua, Colombia for a few days! We were able to do an evangelism training, a kids´activity, and preach on Sunday on the Great Commission!
Preaching about fulfilling the Great Commission as God´s superheroes!
We had a great mission trip to Guacamayal, a small town about an hour and a half from Santa Marta, back in early December. We were able to do evangelistic activities with kids from a non-profit in the mornings and do intercession and evangelism trainings in the afternoons!

Great Commission service
One really cool testimony was from a teenage girl who went to a morning activity and was touched by God. Later that evening we had a special Great Commission service and again was touched by God. I was asked to pray for her and she decided to follow Christ!
We started back up at the non-profit on Saturday, January 27! We are so thankful that God provided a coordinator for the Fire School this year which has and will continue to free us up to expand the ministry! This is Yuranis, the new coordinador! We had supported her while doing missions in Brazil for 6 months last year. |
