Maria and I will be celebrating 5 years of marriage on April 13! God is good!
Testimony time:
Over the past few months, we have been able to share the Gospel message and build good relationships with several neighbors and kids in our housing community. There is still much more work to do, but God has placed us perfectly there to be a light to them. Several neighbors have even started donating food for our feeding program!
One child (Juan) involved with Enciende El Fuego was really sick for a long while and the doctors thought he may have cancer. He recently had been hospitalized. The women had been praying for him each Tuesday during the "Women in the War Room" prayer times. His family reported that he was miraculously healed when a unknown "man" walked out of his hospital room, and Juan said that Jesus had healed him!
We have a volunteer named Sharon who is leader of our dance ministry. She had been having eye problems. We went to an outreach with her and others outside of the city. The same group of women were praying for her and her eye. Sharon reported that while she was dancing during the outreach, her eye was completely healed!
About two weeks ago, the Lord told me to go to the beach downtown because there was someone He wanted me to talk to. I ended up talking to Jhon, a guy from another city who had just arrived in Santa Marta the day before and doesn't have much. I got to talk to him for a while and share Christ with him. My wife and I have met up with him several times since then, have been helping him some, and have seen a great transformation since the day we first met! He has even started to look for a church and read the Bible!
A boy (Santiago) who recently started in our ministry was asked to dance for Carnaval celebration in his school. Carnaval is similar to Mardi Gras. He said he wasn't going to dance "Because I am a Christian!"
One day as we were leaving the mall, a guy (Andrés) was selling chocolate and my wife and I felt we needed to pray for him. I invited him to church (he hasn't gone in a long time), and he has gone the past two weeks and was even touched by God the first Sunday!
During our evangelism training with the Evangecube, Maykol (12 yrs old) wanted to know more about the cube. I shared with him and invited him to follow Jesus. He took the first step in accepting Christ and felt a strong peace!

On March 13, I had the honor of preaching about the Great Commission during missions Sunday at our church. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully!
