Maria and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on April 13!
Back in mid-March I was invited to introduce our ministry at a conference for Venezuelan pastors for 3 days in Cúcuta (a Colombia/Venezuela border city). We have received many invitations to take our ministry to Venezuela, but things are a bit complicated right now for Americans to enter the country.
Maria was blessed to go recently on a beach retreat for women ministers. She was refreshed and able to connect with the Lord!
Mia and Zoe have been growing very quickly! They are funny, loving and like to serve. They really do love each other! They both have been loving their new school.

Ignite the Fire Church is coming up on its 2nd anniversary on May 18! Hard to believe it's been two years since we took this leap of faith. It hasn't been easy learning how to pastor a church, but we are grateful for all God has done and will continue to do!
Testimonies
A family who had left our church about 8 months ago told us that God led them to return because the pastor (me) was going to teach them how to win souls. They were currently living together and the first Sunday they returned they were convicted and have since chosen not to live together until getting married.
Isabela (18 years old) is the daughter of Maria´s excerise coach who we invited to help with our Saturday kids' ministry. She told her mom shortly after that she wanted to give her life to Jesus. She has since been helping out on Saturday mornings with a passion for serving. We see her doing missions with us in the future.
We have 7 different people who are interested in being baptized on May 13!
Maria and I have had the opportunity to give a few large group talks about identity in the local public school close to the church, mainly with 6th graders. We chose to freely talk about Jesus and the Bible and how the kids' identity is based on who God says they are in His Word. God has ministered in many of their hearts and is bringing transformation!
We were also given the opportunity recently do conduct a youth service at a local public school. We got to share the Gospel and minister to around 350 6th and 7th graders!
